Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. What does the Assistive Technology Consultation Team do?

The team serves as consultants to students, parents and teachers, regarding assistive technology needs.  A request form for a consultation should be completed and sent to Diane Musser, at Nichols School  when student's needs are not being met with current interventions, methods and/or devices tried.

The team will work with the individual making a request or the student's IEP team to identify assistive technology that best fits the student's area of needs. The team will then conduct a periodic review to ensure that the assistive technology has improved the students learning success
