Announcements - Behind the Scenes The Monona Grove High School Morning Announcements are one of the events that the creative video club works together to produce daily. Our 2002 - 2003 announcement team worked hard to pull the show together every school day throughout the year.
As you can see it takes many people working not only in front of the camera but also behind the scenes to make the show look as it does. Some of the various jobs during the show include: news anchors, floor director, camera operators, teleprompter operator, audio technician, graphics technician, director, producer, master control operator and switcher technician. Pulling off a show requires that everyone work together in sync so when we switch to a camera it's adjusted properly, or when we move over to a different set we have the proper lighting and good sound levels. Since it is a live broadcast into the high school and the City of Monona, we only have one chance to get things right and there is no "take 2" during the show. With moving camera shots, music, graphics and the works, the daily show looks great. |
